Peace be with you!

Metanoia of Vermont Reflections is a series of posts that emerge from life on our lay contemplative homestead. We follow a lay expression of Benedictine spirituality on 41 acres of an old Vermont farm as we seek to follow Christ and live in loving relationship with God, others, and the natural world. Some of the posts are directly about our way of life, and some are reflections on wider spiritual and cultural issues from the vantage point of our lay contemplative life.

We don’t spend that much time on the computer, and our home doesn’t have electricity! This means that we typically respond to comments on the posts once a week.

Why subscribe?

Both free and paid subscribers get every new post sent directly to your inbox. We run our nonprofit and homestead on the principle that every spiritual offering is given freely - just as we have freely received from God. If you become a paid subscriber, your subscription helps to fund our ministry. That helps us to spend more time writing these posts, as well as supporting the expenses involved with offering hospitality to guests at the homestead by donation only.
